So Bad

Inspired by Seether’s Sold Me

A society so bad.

It’s why I get so mad.

Seeing it rot away.

With each passing day.

And no one bats an eye.

Not a clue as to why.

They all just fall in line.

Though we’re all losing time.

Our days are running out.

Time to just scream and shout.

Pay no attention if you dare.

But if you do, you’ll end in despair.

Yeah, a society so bad.

It’s why I get so mad.

Destiny trampled by our own mutiny.

Divided minds can’t exist in unity.

Hidden agendas all around.

She said, he said, the only sound.

Getting lost in between the turmoil.

More hope lost with each rich that’s spoiled.

Screens hold the power, that’s how it’s going.

Our own vanities keeping us in oblivion.

Death, taxes, and the right to ignore are killing us.

Not just the bullets, knives, and our lack of trust.
