He tries to find the words before he must say goodbye to her.
“I’m going to miss you so much.” He says, before realizing it’s impossible for him to let her go.
“This is going to be one of the hardest things I’ll ever have to do and so I won’t.” He says.
“What do you mean?” She asks him.
“Pretending like any sense of closure from saying goodbye to you will make life easier without you around.” He says.
“Do I really mean that much to you? Or are you just saying that to try and convince me?” She asks.
“You Do mean that much. I wouldn’t say I love you if I didn’t mean it. Not to you especially.” He tells her.
He stares into her eyes.
“I’m going to miss those beautiful eyes of yours. They put me at peace every time I look at you.” He says.
“I have to go. I can’t do this right now.” She tells him.
“Please don’t go. I love you more than anyone I’ve ever known and want you in my life.” “I want nothing more for you than to become the person you’re meant to be, but I need you in my life because I love you so much.” He says.
“He loves me too and I, [she pauses as she begins to shed a tear], I can’t be with you, I’m happy already.”
“I’m happy for you too, but I can’t truly be happy for myself if you’re not in my life.” You’re my world, and without you, I can’t see the hope to love someone more than I love you.” He says.
“You’ll find love with someone else trust me, you believe in it so much, it’s coming.” She tells him.
“What I believe in, is only because of what you’ve brought to my life.” He tells her.
As he begins to choke up, he says, “My God you’re beautiful.” as he stares into her eyes once more before kissing her on the forehead.
He then looks at her and says, “I’m sorry I love you, but I can’t help myself,” then he kisses her on the lips.
She says she can’t and tries to turn away.
“I want to have true love and happiness, and that’s not possible unless you’re in my life.” He says.
He then hugs her. “I love you. Don’t leave me. I’ll never recover.” He says.
She tightens her embrace.
