Believed your heart was a refuge, but now I’m stuck in a tidal wave.

Drowning in the midst of a storm, with nobody to make the save.

Leaving me stranded in the middle of the ocean, an ocean of crying tears.

Grasping for air as I go under, living out one of my life’s greatest fears.

My love being cap-sized, by your crashing wave of an unforgiving heart.

Oh I’ll make it out alive, but rest assure, it won’t be thanks to your part.

So go, rush away from me, you tumultuous, havoc-wreaking catastrophe.

For finding true love out of this, will be the greatest triumph from this tragedy.

About the Author Mr. Boza

The summer of 2019 was when I decided to no longer go through life holding my feelings, my thoughts, and my emotions contained within. I needed a change in life and since I made that decision, life has been so much more liberating. Nowadays my writing helps me express myself in a way that allows me to feel whatever it is that I'm thinking or feeling or even yearning for, pour out and not consume me from within. My work is simple to read, simple to understand, and hopefully is the type of writing that makes someone smile when they read it. Enjoy.
